Health Numbers is a free set of tools that interprets blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and BMI against standard reference charts.
Every result is computed in your browser and based transparently on widely used clinical classification charts. Results are for reference only, not a diagnosis.
What is Health Numbers
Health Numbers is a free set of tools that helps anyone quickly see where their blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol or BMI — from a checkup report or a home device — falls on standard charts. It explains complex classification thresholds with simple tables, so you can understand what your numbers mean without medical background.
Our principles (E-E-A-T)
- Experience — we mirror the exact items and units used on real lab and checkup reports for input and interpretation.
- Expertise — we interpret using clinical thresholds such as normal blood pressure 120/80, fasting glucose below 100, LDL below 100 and BMI 18.5-22.9.
- Authoritativeness — we cite and link to authoritative bodies such as the AHA, ADA, NHLBI and WHO for their criteria.
- Trustworthiness — we clearly state that every result is a reference classification and not a diagnosis, and we never collect or store your input.
Sources for our charts
The classification thresholds used in each tool are based on the guidelines and criteria of the following bodies. Criteria can be revised, and we update to the latest values when they change.
- American Heart Association — blood pressure categories
- American Diabetes Association — fasting/post-meal glucose and HbA1c criteria
- NHLBI — cholesterol (LDL/HDL/triglycerides) criteria
- World Health Organization — BMI and waist (abdominal obesity) criteria
A note on accuracy
Every Health Numbers result is a reference estimate produced by applying your input to published classification charts. The same number can mean different things and have different targets depending on age, sex, comorbidities and cardiovascular risk, and no single reading can diagnose a condition. If you have symptoms or your numbers fall outside the normal range, please consult a healthcare professional. This site does not replace medical care.
